An end-to-end fault prognostics solution for reliable power grids using acoustic sensors
A new end-to-end fault detection method will be developed based on anomalies in acoustic signals in noisy environments. It will be validated in controlled lab experiments with forced equipment failures and benchmarked against several state-of-the-art measurement techniques.

FiberSustain – upcycling and targeted processing to improve the potential of selected side streams as high-fiber, unfractionated ingredients
We aim to investigate upcycling and targeted processing to valorize and improve the potential of three regional side streams, apple pomace, yellow-pea hulls and wheat-bran, as high-fiber, unfractionated functional ingredients with an outlook to added-value bakery and other food applications. ...

Neuromorphic Technology for Embodied AI
Automation in dynamic environments - in agriculture, healthcare, or small-scale production - is limited. Rigid industrial robotsfail in these complex environments. The key towards more flexible, adaptive, and safe automation is better perception. Robotsneed to assess their environment visually fast enough to track ...

Preliminary study for an innovative lift retrofit system for people with disabilities
The company flexomobil ag was founded just a few months ago and builds on the decades of experience of Flexo-Handlauf GmbH. Flexo-Handlauf GmbH has many years of experience in retrofitting handrails in detached houses and apartment blocks, and it has become clear that retrofitting stair lifts has disadvantages as ...

DRACONIAN DRone trAjectory and CONtrol optlmisAtioN for noise emissions reduction
The project is concerned with a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the acousticdrones and the extent to which this can be reduced by adjusting the flight path and/or flight control parameters. The aim is to contribute to limiting the impact of air traffic on the environment
