Background
This project outlines a collaborative workshop that aims to identify joint research, educational, and practical themes in the areas of Community Care, Palliative Care, and Pediatrics between the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), Institute of Nursing. The workshop intends to foster discussions resulting in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for future cooperation. Scheduled to be held in Winterthur, Switzerland, this workshop will bring together faculty and students from Bhutan to collaborate intensively over three days.
Objectives
- To Identify Common Themes: Establish shared areas of interest and concern in healthcare, particularly in Community Care, Palliative Care, and Pediatrics.
- To Foster International Collaboration: Enhance collaboration between the KGUMSB and ZHAW by sharing knowledge, research, and practices.
- To Develop a MoU: Formulate a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise a partnership for future collaborative projects and exchanges.
Expected Outcomes
- Shared Understanding: This is a comprehensive list of shared research and practical themes in Community Care, Palliative Care, and Pediatrics.
- Collaborative Projects: Initial project ideas for joint research and practical applications.
- MoU Framework: This is a draft Memorandum of Understanding outlining the terms of future cooperation between KGUMSB and ZHAW.
