FDA plans to reconsider the rules for using CBD as an ingredient
The FDA has launched a review of the rules regulating the use of CBD and could ultimately allow the use of the cannabis-derived ingredient in restaurant food and drinks. The agency will hold a public hearing in May to discuss the ingredient, which is legal in the US but technically banned for use as a food ingredient.
