Description
Social assistance robots (SAR) are increasingly being used in care homes, but the specific needs/requirements for their use in dementia care are unclear. A literature review, focus group interviews and a future workshop will be used to gain insights for further development.
The main aim is to improve the care of people with dementia by adapting the use of SAR to their needs and requirements. There has been little research to date on the question of how SAR can be used sensibly in dementia care (especially from the user's perspective). The planned project therefore aims to investigate this question.
