With applied and interdisciplinary research on energy safety and climate Change, we support decision-making processes in politics and industry. Thus, we contribute to the implementation of a sustainable energy system, and ultimately to a cleaner environment.
In formulating solutions, we focus on efficiency and effectiveness as well as the distributional effects of policy instruments. Methodologically, we apply empirical methods ranging from statistical, econometric approaches to laboratory and field experiments.
