Evaluation of psychosocial integration measures in social counselling

Social services offices and social counselling centres are often faced with clients who are characterized by marked psychosocial disintegration (unemployment, addiction, disability, mental health problems) and chronification of their problems. Providing services to these clients demands coordinated processing of complex issues in the social, health and insurance areas.

In 2013 the department of human/social services of the city of Dübendorf developed and introduced a programme with psychosocial integration measures for clients with complex needs. One of the offerings in this programme is psychotherapy.

The effectiveness of the intervention programme will be evaluated based on an intervention group and a control group.
