Care & Rehabilitation Sciences
The PhD programme in Care and Rehabilitation Sciences offers graduates with an MSc from a university of applied sciences in a health profession the opportunity to obtain a doctoral degree in Switzerland. The programme is run jointly by the ZHAW School of Health Sciences and the University of Zurich Faculty of Medicine. It is open to the following health professions: occupational therapy, physiotherapy, midwifery, nutrition counselling, optometry, osteopathy, and nursing.
Public Health Sciences
The PhD programme in Public Health Sciences for Universities of Applied Sciences aims to strengthen the research skills of people working at universities of applied sciences in the domain of public health. Doctoral students can do a PhD research project at one of our partner universities and benefit from further networking and training. The PhD program is run by the Swiss School of Public Health Foundation (SSPH+), an association of all Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences with academic expertise in public health.
The program had its last call in March 2020 and is terminated.
