TeamBirth: Shared Decision Making for Respectful Maternity Care

Workshops in February 2025

We invite you to the workshop «TeamBirth: Shared Decision Making for Respectful Maternity Care», led by Amber Weiseth. She has already given the lecture «Process Innovation for Clinical Safety, Effective Communication, and Dignity in Childbirth» at ZHAW Gesundheit in September 2024. Building on this, we will be offering one-day workshops in February 2025.

Various people are involved in a birth. In addition to midwives and medical staff, the woman giving birth and other caregivers and professionals are also involved. Get to know the innovative approaches of TeamBirth, which combines structured communication, interprofessional teamwork and joint decision-making to create respectful maternity care.

We particularly welcome the participation of interprofessional teams from hospital maternity departments.
