Primary school pupils from the Exploratio programme at Winterthur schools visited the ALFA wind tunnel and the ReDSim research simulator at the Centre for Aviation.
As part of the Exploratio programme run by Winterthur schools, primary school pupils visited the Centre for Aviation (ZAV) at the ZHAW School of Engineering. The young aviation enthusiasts were able to visit the ALFA aerodynamic teaching and research facility and the ZAV's ReDSim flight simulator. In the flight simulator, they were given the opportunity to take the controls of an aeroplane; in the wind tunnel, the schoolchildren were able to experience a series of experiments up close and gain valuable practical experience.
