The SML is a PRME Champion
The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) – an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact – has announced its PRME Champions for 2024-2025. This select group consists of 47 PRME signatory members who, through their activities, contribute to addressing the challenges of the PRME community and, in so doing, create value for the economy and society as a whole. The ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) is proud to be one of these PRME Champions.
A list of all PRME Champions and further information can be found here.
The SML has been part of the PRME initiative since 2014 and takes its responsibility to support sustainable development and society very seriously. As a business school, the SML wants its students to understand the interrelationships between their actions and ecological and social challenges, and to reflect on their responsibility as future specialists and managers. They also need to know the models and tools that enable companies to understand and implement sustainability and social responsibility as a success factor. Our lecturers, researchers, and staff have been committed to these goals for many years. The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) are the ideal tool to develop our organization further in this respect. Further information about PRME initiative activities at the ZHAW School of Management and Law can be found here.
