The project investigates scenarios for the fragmentation of the global economy, particularly focusing on the geopolitical risks stemming from the increasingly complex relationship between China and the United States. It analyzes the impact of these scenarios on the international operations of Swiss companies and identifies necessary adjustments to their business models. This research aims to provide Swiss businesses with strategic tools to navigate geopolitical risks and enhance resilience in a fragmented global market. The outcome of the project is a stress test tool that enables Swiss companies to simulate their exposure to these scenarios and adjust their international strategies accordingly.
