Novel rehabilitation device to improve trunk control early after stroke (T-CHAIR)

Description

The T-CHAIR is a robotic reha-device for stroke patients to reactivate trunk muscles and to improve balance in sitting. Necessary boundary conditions for a mobilisation of the lumbar spine and the pelvis were acquired in the gait laboratory of the IPT. The T-CHAIR will be developed by the IMES Institute for Mechanical Systems and will be tested in a feasibility study together with the Rehaklinik Valens.
