Occupational Therapy Interest Group for Displaced Persons (ENOTHE) (ENOTHE)
Description
The European interest group "Occupational Therapy for Displaced Persons" networks all interested occupational therapists from education, research and practice. In the first step, a situation analysis of occupational therapy in refugee aid in the European area was carried out. Occupational therapy is positioned differently within the European countries. In 2018, the interest group formulated and thanked a "Call for Action" as a uniform positioning of occupational therapy in refugee aid. A website was also created: sites.google.com/site/oteudisplacedpersons/homeIn the next few years, the activities of the interest group will focus on the different service areas. 2019 focused on networking among students. Scientific work from students was collected and made available on the website, and a student workshop was organized and carried out.
