Rubberball – Enhancing Societal Resilience
Description
The importance of the concept “resilience” is growing in the context of coping with crisis. The concept was originally developed in the context of families asking how family members ac-quire resistance to tensions/ crisis within families. Recently the concept was transferred and adapted to societal crisis, such as terrorism and catastrophes. The German-Israeli Rubberball research project, which consists of crisis analysts/ reaction forces and researchers, is located in this new line of research. An interactive system of pundits supports exchange, collaboration and learning processes among the involved crisis management stakeholders in different countries.
For this research project, we provide our competences regarding conception and creation of virtual learning environments.
