Safe flight operations with drones beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS)
Description
Research project to develop procedures for safe drone flight operations beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS). The term BVLOS describes a flight or part of a flight during which the drone pilot does not have visual contact with the drone. For example, these can be flights at night, flights in poor visibility (fog) or flights behind buildings.Containment: Drones up to 30 kilograms, focus on specific flight operations using the BAZL/JARUS Specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA).
