Net-Zero self-adaptive activation of distributed self-resilient augmented services (NATWORK)
Description
The ambition of the EU NATWORK project funded by Horizon Europe - 6G SNS (2024-2026) is to set the foundations and deploy the very first economically realistic, energy efficient, and viable bio-inspired AI-based 6G cybersecurity and resilience framework for intelligent networking and services, taking a holistic approach and considering all elements in a cross-sector business environment. It brings together a network of 14 partners from 10 European countries to address the threat landscape for 6G networks and to develop novel assets considering the scientific, social, and economic contexts for secure and efficient mobile networks into the future. For this purpose, it will develop bio-inspired solutions to provide resilient 6G telecommunication infrastructure in the presence of cyber-attacks in 6G networks. The viability of the proposed solutions will be demonstrated by considering four use cases. The project also inherently promotes sustainable development via the Net Zero vision and through Goal 9 of UN SDG6, i.e., to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.
