Co-Evolution and Coordinated Simulation of the Swiss Energy System and Swiss Society (SWEET COSI)
Description
CoSi is a research project funded by the "SWEET" program of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (call 1-2022) and carried out by the University of Basel. The project deals with the interactions between society and the energy system. To this end, various areas of social research (economics, social sciences and humanities) will be combined with engineering-based energy modeling and a direct exchange with relevant stakeholders will be established. The aim is to jointly test various scenarios and develop models that can lead to socially desirable visions of the future. The ZHAW is involved in various CoSi work packages.
