Digitalization guide for Repair Cafés
Description
Repair Café are events setup to provide people with a place to gather and work on repairing objects of everyday life, such as electronics, mechanical devices, computers, bicycles, and clothing. The digitalization guide for Repair Cafés aimed to make these events more accessible and efficient. Despite challenges like resistance to change among participants and difficulty engaging young people due to their busy schedules, the project identified significant opportunities for improvement. Digital tools, especially in communication and social media, emerged as key solutions to these challenges. By leveraging these technologies, Repair Cafés organizers can broaden their reach and impact, aligning with goals of sustainable consumption, climate action, and community development.
