Musculoskeletal modelling of loading conditions during strength training exercises
This project is an exploratory collaboration in the field of musculoskeletal modeling and the analysis of loading conditions during strength training.
Result
This project was made possible through the support of the Leading House Ost- und Südostasien, which facilitated an extensive exchange with our partner laboratory at Soonchunhyang University in South Korea. Through this collaboration, we established a strong working relationship that served as the foundation for future joint research initiatives.
The research stay at Soonchunhyang University enabled us to explore and refine methodologies for musculoskeletal modeling in the context of resistance training. By combining expertise and resources, we enhanced our understanding of loading conditions during strength training exercises, laying the groundwork for more advanced biomechanical investigations.
Moreover, this partnership set the stage for a large grant application aimed at further advancing musculoskeletal modeling and its application in resistance training. The collaboration has not only strengthened scientific ties between institutions but has also created opportunities for innovative research in the field of biomechanics and sports science.
