Measuring the impact of libraries in the canton of Zurich
Description
The study aims to assess the social impact of public libraries in the Canton of Zurich, following the approach of existing studies conducted in Denmark and Canada. Using the Impact Compass, the study seeks to gain deeper insights into the effects of library usage on the population beyond traditional performance metrics. A mixed-method approach is applied, combining qualitative interviews and observations with quantitative surveys to comprehensively analyze the social relevance of public libraries.
