Flexible Learning Research
Description
In 2014, the School of Management and Law at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) launched FLEX, a blended learning format that offers students more flexibility in when and where they want to learn. FLEX reduces classroom learning time by about half and provides a digital learning environment for self-study. In the accompanying research on FLEX, the state of research on flexible learning is being reviewed and the FLEX project is being accompanied by research; in particular, the learning effectiveness and implementation conditions of a blended learning study programme are being investigated.
