Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maledives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Iran: the Leading House South Asia supports your international research project in nine South Asian countries and gives you the opportunity to discover the Indian startup ecosystem with your early-stage startup.
Our mission
We promote the creation of bridges between countries, scientific disciplines and cultures, fostering a spirit of co-creation and trust in research and innovation.
We do this by enabling transformative collaboration of Swiss-based researchers and sciencepreneurs with counterparts in South Asia. We actively support the planting of seeds, growing into consecutive projects with a lasting impact.
We focus on supporting projects with a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that integrate diverse perspectives and fields, providing solutions with a real-world impact.

Eligibility
To be eligible for our grants, you must be a Swiss-based researcher. This includes professors, senior scientists, postdocs, and PhD students of all Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research intstitutes across all scientific disciplines and fields of research.
