INUAS Conference 2022: Call for Papers has been extended
The INUAS Conference 2022 “Urban Transformation: Public Spaces” takes place from 7–9 September 2022 at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW. The Call for Papers, Projects and Interventions is intended for researchers, graduates and students from various disciplines as well as actors and initiatives in applied fields of work.
The university network INUAS (International Network of Universities of Applied Sciences) has been organizing an international conference series with the topic “Urban Transformation: Housing | Resources | Public Spaces” since 2019. With these events the alliance consisting of the ZHAW , the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna creates a platform for a critical appraisal of current issues and perspectives in the development of cities and regions.
International conference on resources
The third international conference of this INUAS conference series in Winterthur-Zurich is now dedicated to the topic of public spaces as experimental areas of innovative, sustainable urban development in Winterthur-Zurich in September 2022. In the five sections Participation, Ecology, Mobility and Energy, Design and Development as well as Methodology, questions related to the ecological, political, planning, social and technological challenges and opportunities in public spaces will be addressed.
Call for Papers, Projects and Interventions
The "Call for Papers, Projects and Interventions" is intended for researchers, experts and students from various disciplines as well as actors and initiatives in applied fields of work who deal with public spaces in cities and regions and want to contribute with their expertise to the analysis and sustainable development of public spaces.
Submissions should aim to contribute with their expertise to the analysis and sustainable development of these. During the conference, selected submitters will present their contributions in conference panels, poster sessions or urban excursions/interventions.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by a scientific committee and associated experts. Papers accepted by the jury will be published in the conference Book of Abstracts.
The closing date for submissions was on 20 February 2022.
