Research and teaching across institutes
Interdisciplinary approaches are more important than ever: A current project example of the Health Research Hub shows how not only research but also teaching can be linked across institutes.
Researchers from the Institute of Facility Management and the Institute of Applied Simulation are analyzing catering processes in hospitals and optimizing them in terms of quality, productivity and sustainability. In the context of this research project called "Bayes network analysis for data-driven decision support in healthcare", the opportunity arose to explore the topic in greater depth as part of a module in the Master of Applied Computational Life Sciences.
A great example of successful collaboration in research and teaching!
