Academia-Industry Training India
The Academia-Industry Training (AIT) India is a program for Swiss-based researchers looking to validate and convert their inventions into viable, marketable innovations and discover the potential of their applied research in the Indian market.

For over ten years, the AIT India program has been supporting multiple Swiss researchers in gaining an understanding of the market potential of their innovations across different geographies, helping convert many of them into entrepreneurs. It has enabled them to transform their ideas into viable, successful products.
Several of these innovations have been brought to market across multiple geographies, and AIT alumni have gone on to become successful entrepreneurs and mentors to other startups. The AIT is also a great barometer of technological shifts and has been successful in identifying impactful technologies in key sectors such as energy and sustainability.
The AIT consists of the following:
- A kick-off seminary
- A one-week seminary in India
