Development of an educational program for relatives of patients with refractory cachexia
An explorative sequential mixed methods study with a focus on alleviation of challenges concerning mutrition, weight and quality of life
Description
The refractory cachexia can lead to suffering conditions in relatives of cancer-affected people, which can have a reciprocal impact. Educative interventions can alleviate this suffering and increase the quality of life of the actors involved in the disease process through an interdisciplinary approach.The aim is, to develop an educational concept, which can be used as an accompanying intervention pro-gram for relatives of cancer affected people with refractory cachexia in the Hospital.
