Molecular Phonon-Mode Engineering for All-Organic Gap-Free THz Photonics

This project focuses on developing and investigating new organic single crystals for THz generation in an ultra-broad frequency range beyond 12 THz.

Description

In this project, we will develop broadband THz sources without spectral gaps. Both THz generation and THz detection will be entirely based on new, optimized organic crystals. This approach has applications in fundamental studies of the interactions between THz radiation and matter, as well as in industry-relevant THz spectroscopy and THz imaging.
