Open Mind and Closed Cycles

Description
KREIS-Haus stands for: Climate and Resource-Efficient Sufficiency House. The project demonstrates how a functioning circular economy can be implemented in the smallest of spaces. From building materials to nutrients from wastewater – everything is part of the cycle. The KREIS-Haus serves as a living lab where new technologies and concepts are tested and further developed through interaction with visitors.
By developing guided tours specifically for teenagers and young adults, the project targets a group with high potential for future-oriented action. The overarching goal is to promote the implementation of circular economy principles among the general population. These tours focus on self-directed exploration, experience, and critical reflection, as well as practical engagement with the topic. The aim is to encourage systems thinking and foster responsible behavior.
