Description
Demographic change has led to a change in the age structure of many companies in recent years. The issue of age diversity has gained importance in Switzerland, as age diversity in a workforce can lead to many opportunities but also challenges. Active management of age diversity can be of lasting benefit to organizations. The implementation of different age diversity practices can contribute to this. This exploratory empirical study investigates the practices companies use to promote age diversity and inclusion while strengthening their competitiveness. In particular, managers and HR/diversity professionals were surveyed on the use of age diversity practices. Based on the quantitatve findings, recommendations for action are derived for sustainable implementation.
