The Cinema Culture for Schools program has existed since 2009 and has already been evaluated three times by the ZHAW in 2011, 2015 and 2018. The focus was primarily on written student and teacher surveys. In 2020, the Kinokultur program for schools was extended to French-speaking Switzerland and in 2021 to Ticino. Accordingly, all KINOKULTUR CINECULTURE CINECULTURA offerings are now available in the three national languages.

The fourth evaluation of 2023 focuses on the main target group of cinema culture for schools: teachers who use materials and services. An online survey was conducted for the evaluation in German- and French-speaking Switzerland.
