Valve qualification

Description

Mammalian cell-based production processes are increasingly being used for the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products such as monoclonal antibodies. However, mammalian cells are more shear-sensitive than the microbial cells also used. The aim of the project is to investigate the suitability of a novel valve with regard to shear stress on CHO cells (batch and perfusion mode).
