SmartAssets - Digital Transformation in Industry 4.0 (SmartAssets)
This project establishes standardised digital asset representations by integrating the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and Digital Product Passport (DPP) into component suppliers, optimizing efficiency and interoperability. Secure data exchange and seamless communication drive enhanced asset management and industry-wide progress.
Description
Summary
This project aims to optimise efficiency and interoperability across all industry sectors by establishing standardised digital asset representations. We enhance transparency, traceability, and seamless integration throughout the value chain by integrating the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and Digital Product Passport (DPP) into component supplier operations.
Implementation Strategy
We will implement robust data models, communication protocols, and an interoperability framework to ensure secure data exchange. A pilot implementation will serve as a testbed for these solutions, driving a transformation in asset management practices and fostering improved decision-making and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Impact
This innovative approach streamlines operations and reduces downtime by embracing AAS and DPP. It also positions component suppliers at the forefront of digital transformation. Ultimately, our project strengthens the competitiveness and resilience of industrial sectors in the global market.
