Biological characterization of a novel single-use bioreactor through the cultivation of pluripotent stem cells on microcarriers
Description
The client intends to commercialize its proprietary MemStir impeller for the production of shear-sensitive stem cells using scalable stirred bioreactors. Proof-of-concept studies and process development will include characterization of the bioreactor when operated under specific process conditions and a comparison of the cell yield and quality produced in this manner with a commercially available counterpart.
