Process Analytical Platform for Autologous Cell-Based Therapy Manufacturing
Description
The aim of the project is to develop a microchip-based process analytical technologies (PAT) platform tailored for autologous cell therapies (ACTs) manufacturing fulfilling the one patient - one batch paradigm. Using microsystem technologies, a silicon-based microchip with cell density, glucose, pH and dissolved oxygen measurement capabilities will be developed. This miniaturized, multiparameter sensor will subsequently be tested at the ZHAW in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) and mesenchymal stem cell (hMSC) cultivations.
