Industrial symbiosis options for nutrient provision in indoor vertical farming (EINS)

Description

This project aims to provide an overview of possible sources for integrating fertilizers derived from UMAMI’s and other local (safe) waste resources into soilless cultivation systems. This would unlock a novel sustainable approach to food production, further increase nutrient recycling, reduce environmental impact, and enhance overall crop performance.
