Field experiment on the effect of different presentations on cashless tipping in restaurants
Description
In a large-scale field experiment in several restaurants and on the webshop, various designs of cashless tipping functions are being examined for their impact on the amount of tips and their acceptance by guests.
The results should provide an insight into how service staff tips can be maintained in times of increased cashless payments without annoying guests with intrusive demands.
