The SME Zurich Monitor annually analyzes the status, challenges, and trends of SMEs in Zurich. In 2024, the focus is on artificial intelligence, financial returns from sustainability, and customers’ willingness to pay.
Description
The KMU ZH Monitor is based on a survey conducted among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the canton of Zurich. Its objective is to assess the general state, current business developments, and overall conditions for SMEs. Additionally, the challenges faced by these companies and their areas of interest are collected and analyzed.
Annual focal topics are dedicated to in-depth exploration of current issues. In 2024, the focus is on artificial intelligence, financial returns from sustainability, and customers’ willingness to pay.
The high number of participants allows for a differentiated analysis by sector and company size.
The Zürcher Kantonalbank utilizes the insights gained through the KMU ZH initiative to develop practical solutions in collaboration with external experts. This is achieved through workshops, exchange of experiences, and discussion rounds, all of which are open to interested SMEs, both clients and non-clients alike. The aim is to actively support SMEs in the canton of Zurich in their ongoing development.
