Description
Members of the Swiss Parliament who are interested in a particular topic or subject area can form parliamentary groups (Art. 63 of the Parliament Act). In this case, the exchange between parliamentarians from the National Council and the Council of States who are interested in Japan is promoted by this secretariat. Activities also include exchanges with the Japanese Embassy in Bern, as well as support for international contacts with members of the Japanese Parliament, the Diet.
