ZHAW mandated once more as Leading House for the South Asia and Iran region
The ZHAW is pleased to announce its renewed mandate as Leading House South Asia and Iran for the period 2025 to 2028. During this third mandate period, the Leading House will continue to promote and foster research and innovation cooperation between Switzerland and nine countries in South Asia on behalf of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
The ZHAW would like to thank the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) for the trust it has placed in us and for once again mandating us as Leading House South Asia and Iran. “We are excited to build on the experiences of the first two mandate periods and to further enhance the Leading House's cooperation instruments,” says Amanda Strub, Manager of the Leading House.
The Leading House provides Swiss researchers with targeted support in conducting joint projects with partners in the nine mandate countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In addition, the Academia-Industry Training India programme enables young sciencepreneurs to tap into the market potential of their innovations in India.
