CAI offers training on ethical certification of AI systems in collaboration with IEEE Standards Association
As part of its focus on responsible development of AI systems, the ZHAW Centre for Artificial Intelligence is offering for the first-time in Switzerland the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessor Training, providing tools for evaluating transparency, privacy, accountability and algorithmic bias.
Ethical assessment of Autonomous Intelligent Systems (AIS) is a rapidly growing expectation across multiple industries. By augmenting your portfolio with IEEE CertifAIEd™, you will have acquired a recognized expertise in AI ethics. The training is targeted to representatives of academia (universities), NGO's and from the private sector in the Zurich region and beyond interested in becoming leaders in AI ethics assessments. It offers its participants the knowledge to assess AI systems on the key areas of Ethical Transparency, Ethical Privacy, Ethical Accountability, and Ethical Algorithmic Bias.
Participants who successfully complete the training receive a certificate from IEEE Standards Association, thus achieving the first step towards becoming an IEEE CertifAIEd™ authorized assessor.
The IEEE CertifAIEd™ AI Ethics Program is the culmination of work pioneered by IEEE through a diverse, interdisciplinary group of AI Ethics experts, and uniquely addresses criteria including Algorithmic Bias, Ethical Transparency, Privacy, and Accountability. IEEE CertifAIEd™ is compatible with upcoming regulations such as the EU AI Act.
This training is part of a collaboration between the ZHAW Centre for Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with IEEE Standards Association, and the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Physics
