The ZHAW's International Virtual Course ‘Tackling Climate Change through Global Learning’ with partners in Brazil, India and Kenya trains students to become global change makers. In addition to the professional expertise, the focus is on global learning, intercultural communication and virtual teamwork at eye level.

Description
Global challenges require international cooperation at eye level and innovative solutions. ZHAW's international virtual course 'Tackling Climate Change through Global Learning' with partners in Brazil, India and Kenya aims to train students to become global change-makers. The course focuses on global learning, intercultural communication and virtual teamwork as well as professional expertise.
Students learn together and from each other about the challenges and strategies for tackling climate change and try out new forms of virtual collaboration. The international exchange gives students insights into the realities of different regions and encourages a change of perspective. Both in the global North-South understanding as well as in the didactic setting, classical role understandings are broken down to enable encounters at eye level between all students and supervisors.
