Description
The Swiss Smart City Survey aims to regularly survey the current status of smart city developments, trends and corresponding implementation activities in Swiss cities and municipalities. In addition to the planned and implemented solutions, the current framework conditions within politics and administrations (actors, responsibility, organisation, designated bodies, budget, involved areas, etc.) as well as the most important hurdles and drivers for development are to be surveyed. Further planned contents are the network relations within Switzerland (where do the cities and municipalities get the necessary information), various support possibilities, the involvement of the public as well as the communication in the entire process. In particular, the needs of cities and municipalities in Switzerland in their transformation to Smart Sustainable Cities & Communities as well as in the implementation of Smart City solutions will be surveyed.
