ZHAW Climate and the City Summer School

2024 was the warmest year on record. Adaptation to the consequences of climate change is therefore becoming increasingly important – especially in cities. Hot summer days are a major problem for densely populated urban areas, which is why innovative solutions for climate adaptation are urgently needed.
In this practice-oriented summer school, students will develop concrete solutions and business ideas for climate-resilient and liveable cities together with an interdisciplinary team. From smaller measures such as green facades and water management to social innovations, students will explore hands-on approaches that really make a difference. In doing so, they will use inter- and transdisciplinary methods to drive innovation.
Get actively involved in climate protection, expand your skills and expand your network. Apply now and be part of the solution.
