Swiss-Japanese Chamber of Commerce (SJCC)
In December 2015, Dominique Ursprung was appointed as the new Managing Director of the Swiss-Japanese Chamber of Commerce (SJCC), as well as Secretary of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Switzerland-Japan.
For six years, from 2016 to 2021, Ursprung headed the SJCC office at the International Management Institute of the ZHAW School of Management and Law. During this time, the experienced Japan expert implemented the digital transformation of the office and expanded the visibility and importance of the Chamber at home and abroad. In addition, all six of the association's fiscal years have ended with profits.
In November 2021, Ursprung was elected to the Board of the Chamber of Commerce, allowing the International Management Institute to continue to run the secretariat for the Switzerland-Japan Parliamentary Group, chaired by National Councillor Elisabeth Schneider-Schneiter.
