The costs of study abroad vary significantly.

Living expenses

The most important cost factors when studying abroad are the standard of living in the host country, your personal lifestyle, the recreational activities of each student, and travel costs.

Based on the experience of former students, the cost for a one-semester study abroad (five months) is between CHF 6,000.- and CHF 20,000.-. This includes travel, excursions, rent, food, recreational activities, and insurance.

Financial support

Depending on the host destination, there are various options available for applying for financial support during your study abroad. Please note there is no legal entitlement to a financial support grant.
