Assurance of Learning
The School of Management and Law’s Mission Statement begins: “We deliver innovative, interdisciplinary and intellectually challenging education in management, economics and law, enabling our graduates to compete successfully in the domestic and international environment.”
Assurance of Learning (AoL) is a central concept for achieving this goal and supports the quality assurance of our degree programs. Successful implementation of such a process is a prerequisite for AACSB accreditation. AoL is used to systematically review the extent to which the competence-oriented objectives of a degree program have been achieved. Assessors measure student products to evaluate the achievement of goals, and their findings provide indications of further development and optimization potential at the degree-program level.
