Health Development in the Language Regions of Switzerland During the Pandemic
In the scientific journal PLOS ONE, Marc Höglinger and fellow researchers in the Winterthur Institute of Health Economics report on current findings concerning the wellbeing of the Swiss population during the pandemic, based on data collected by the “COVID-19 Social Monitor”.
As their results show, among other things, health indicators such as quality of life, psychological stress, loneliness, or limitations of medical care have so far developed in very similar ways in all language regions of Switzerland during the pandemic. The only differences are in compliance with protective measures.
