Handelszeitung: Responsibility is increasing

Changes are taking place rapidly in the areas of sustainability and corporate responsibility; corresponding continuing education programs must adapt quickly. The article by Peter Ernst in the "Sustainability" special of the Handelszeitung presents the CAS Corporate Responsibility at the ZHAW School of Management and Law.

"We want to teach our participants how to implement sustainability management comprehensively and strategically in a company; preferably in the companies where they work," says Prof. Dr. Christian Vögtlin, Head of Program of the CAS Corporate Responsibility at the ZHAW School of Management and Law.

On the one hand, the CAS is aimed at employees of companies who are already familiar with the topic of sustainability. However, the training is also useful for representatives of authorities, associations or NGOs - wherever competent contact persons on the topic are needed. The individual tasks within the CAS are challenging: the aim is to develop corporate responsibility strategies for companies, to introduce appropriate management approaches, to establish guidelines for monitoring and reporting and, last but not least, to communicate credibly, both internally and externally.
