Workshop: Strategies for emission control on biogas upgrading plants (in Person & Online)
Workshop of IEA Bioenergy Task 37 - Energy from Biogas in collaboration with Biomasse Suisse, Association of the Swiss Gas Industry, Zurich University of applied Sciences (ZHAW), Research Project consortium EMMINA.
The upgrading process of biogas to Biomethane results in a gas stream containing (bio-) methane and a second gas stream containing the CO2 and the methane slip. This CO2 rich gas stream is according to valid regulation either incinerated or directly emitted to the atmosphere. National regulations on the handling are varying, France has recently changed the thresholds, in Switzerland new regulations are discussed. The presentations address the options for the reduction of the emissions, and put the options for emission reduction into a context.
If you want to participate online, you will receive the link to the workshop by email after registration.
