Participate in our attractive double degree program between the Master's Program in Life Sciences, specialization in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the ZHAW, and the Master Program Laurea Magistrale in Biotechnology for the Bio-based and Health Industry at the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria (UI).

Each year, two UI and two ZHAW students can obtain two independent Master of Science degrees, from the UI and ZHAW, respectively, through the transfer and mutual acceptance of obtained credits between the two partners. As the MSc degree from the University of Varese requires the completion of 120 ECTS, the double degree program will take 4 semesters of full time study. Double degree graduates will receive the following 2 degrees UI: LM in Biotechnology for the Bio-based and Health Industry (Title: Dottore Magistrale) and ZHAW: MSc in Life Sciences with Specialization in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Title: Master of Sciences ZFH in Life Sciences) ZHAW LSFM. This is a unique opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.

Application:
Double degree candidates will perform 1 full year of their studies at the Insubria University, starting in the autumn semester only. ZHAW students interested must submit the following documents until 30.4. before their planned leave to Prof. Dr. Steffi Lehmann: CV, Letter of motivation, Bachelor’s/Diploma degree and transcript of records.

Selection criteria: 2 double degree candidates will be selected each year based on the CV, letter of motivation and interviews.
